Following is a pin with three love birds. The bellies are glass but I have never seen this mark. Also are they called jelly bellies or do the bodies have to be plastic for that? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Libra, jelly bellies had clear lucite centers, all the ones I have seen anyway.

the mark is interesting...999 means 999/1000 silver.

Jelly bellies can be made from glass also.

999 silver would be too soft to make jewelry from. 999 is also a European mark for 24 k gold.

The number 9998 on the back is most likely a mold number.
