I've been gone for a bit and just getting started again. Did I miss something about changes in revising an item description after it has been launched? I can't even see the option link anywhere on the page. Want to add some info and can't figure out how to do it. (Send me to lunch and I have to be retrained for the job when I get back)

Sign in, open the auction in question. There will be a text link in the bottom left area of the grey box at the top of the page that says "Revise your item"

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I see the clickable 'Revise Your Item' link in the upper left portion of the auction listing, not far below the listing title. It was in a different area with the old page layout and can be confusing until you get to know the new layout.
