I am trying to sell some items that my place of employment wants me to get rid of. They know I'm the ebay expert here at work! But, I want to set up an account just for work. One of the guys here set up a work account just to buy things and I want one to sell things. Ebay won't let me set up an account, it keeps saying I have one. I am using my work address and by bosses wife name with her credit card to set one up but it won't let me. Any ideas on how to get a second account set up? We want the Ebay charges to go on either my bosses charge card or his wifes.

I have three accounts. You can use whichever cc number you want. I have the same for all three.
But, you do have to have a separate email address for each account. Are you trying to set the new one up with your email address you are already using?

The seperate email address is the key. Since you'll have to use a credit card anyway you can use a fre email address like Yahoo or Hotmail.

I am still having trouble opening a work Ebay account. I have never used this e-mail address at work to set up an Ebay account. I wanted it in my name but using my bosses American Express. I will give it another try. Thanks for your help.

I doubt she can set up an account with her name and her bosses name on the credit card. Both have to be in her name.

I've always thought it just had to be a valid credit card but the name/billing address on the card being different from account holder may present a problem alright.
