I can't believe this guys so called description. Look and if you like it bid. Doesn't tell the language the records are for or anything. This company made and sell makes tapes and cds to teach different languages. You get to guess which language you will learn if you buy this.

Sorry if it looks like I am making fun of them. He/she seems to have a gently way about them. Their other auctions have a description but not this one.

Yikes! His TOS is enough to make someone click back - well, if the red and blue don't!

If he didn't want to take the time to describe the item, he could have least zoomed in on the label...

I can't believe he did no research at all before listing that. Some sharp person will recognize it and nail it in the last few seconds of the auction. It will turn up in about 2 weeks again and he will resale it for a bundle. This seller is definitely shooting himself in the foot. Rule #1 in selling on Ebay: Never list anything unless you know what it is and have an idea as to its value.

The reason I found it was I got one today that was being throw out and wanted to see if is worth anything. I'll wait for the end of auction to see if it sells. I just don't think this is a gauge for seeing if it's worth anything. The one I got today teaches Spanish and I will be sure and say so in the description if I list it. The ones that a CD or cassette sell somewhat but I don't know about the 45 record ones.

Does anyone ever bookmark the stuff that is posted here to see how it does? I do, and it's amazing how low the prices this unique stuff goes for. When compared to four years ago the final prices ( when they get a bid at all ) are very disheartening.

sparkz, I sell lots of antiques and most of the time I have an idea what I am selling. Sometimes I just wing it and say something like "o.k. you guys and gals know what this piece is so good luck bidding." I sometimes also buy that way today I looked at 2 religious items had no idea what they were worth but offered $300.00 for the pair. I couldn't buy them lady wanted more after my offer before my offer she didn't know what she wanted for the items. HA HA If I researched all the items I sell I wouldn't sell as many. Sometimes I catch the bear and sometimes the bear catches me.

Paws...My guess is that one of these would be very much in demand by certain tutors and home school parents. I sold an educational system once to a preschool teacher. She made me firmly promise that if I ever found any additional modules for that system, that I would contact her before even thinking about listing them. Luckily, I have been able to identify most everything I have listed, but if I ran across a real stumper, I'd do like the smart sellers. I'd post a picture of it in this forum and ask "what the hell is this???" If that seller had done the same thing, it could make the difference between a $7.99 sale (or no sale at all) and a $200.00 bonanza. Just remember Tomwiii and his plates.

BPP...I know what you're talking about. I have a lens assembly by Zeis that I have no idea what it came out of. None of the local camera shops have a clue. My guess is some type of microscope or possibly an aerial bomb sight. I might try your technique and wing it. To cover myself, I'm gonna bet $20.00 on the bear

Starting out with all those negatives is enough to turn anyone off, regardless of what the item is...........YUCK - YUCK!
