I bought a huge supply of old vacuum tubes on an Estate Sale this past weekend. Is it legal put in my TOS that I have many more that are not listed? I am setting up auctions for 8 sets of 6 each, but I haven't scratched the surface. It will take me weeks to go through all of them & list them. There must be at least 200 of them, most of which are new in the original boxes. They are so covered with dust that I have to wioe each with a damp cloth to find out what it is. There are also many Military surplus from Army & Navy dating to 1944.

Probably legal but word carefully and don't rush to sell as when they are gone their are no more. Finds like this should be worked not thrown on ebay as they can make you some real money.

Sounds like you hit a jackpot. I sold one old RCA MIB from the 50's last year for $59. It was in a box lot and I started it at $.99. I was clueless.
This is case where you want to do a little homework.

I have put something like "please check my upcoming auctions as I'll be listing additional widgits in the near future" and that has seemed to work out well with no warnings from eBay. And if buyers know you have more to list, they may very well ask if they can buy additional ones from you.
I'll have to take a look at your auctions because I too have over 100 of these and have never listed them. So I'll be curious as to how well they do. Keep us posted and good luck!

Sanmar: And to answer your original question, I will put this in one of my auctions: "This set is one of three I'll be selling on Ebay in the near future." Never have gotten a warning from Ebay on that.

Sanmar...Don't get in a hurry to list. Take the time to do a little research on closed auctions. Some of those tubes can bring more than Royal Doulton pieces. I've got a bunch of tubes also, but I'm hanging on to them for now to rebuild some vintage radios I have. Sounds like you hit the jackpot.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Sanmar, there are hobbyists out there who are desperate for the tubes.
Make yourself an aboutme page if you haven't already, to talk about them a little.
I wanted to build a radio with my kids- but never was able to. I am sure I won't be bale to afford your tubes!
