Watching CNN now...what's with the Austrian flag as a back drop...is California a new colony of the Arnold Reich or what??
As a survivor of a state with a celebrity Governor (Minnesota) you have my sympathies!! Jesse (RIP) did nothing more than self promotion during his term and we are very glad to have him back on tv and out of the government!

Some of you talk like Arnie was a Nazi. Well prove your point before you make accusations.He admitted doing a few sexual mistakes, but maybe you better check what goes on in Hollywood behind the scenes. He is not the first nor the last. "He has not sinned shall cast the first stone" WELL?
Whether you like him or not, He will be our next govenor. Yes, I voted for him. By the way California beat MN by 30 yrs. We had Ronald Reagan as Gov. before he became President.

Well Sanmar, get used to it. His popularity will drop like a stone and it is not hard to put a recall on the ballot.
Tell me, which of his specific programs did you like? And the car tax. His mentor Pete Wilson, who left the state in a shambles, is the one who put it into law.
The energy problem? Guess who deregulated energy and forced the distributers to give up the power plants to out of state companies? Thats right, the Gropinators mentor Pete Wilson.

I offer my deepest sympathies. Wow, I dislike our governor, but I now feel grateful to have him. Only in California.

I feel sorry for Arnie. I don't think he knows how bad it is or how badly the voters will turn on him when things don't get better fast.
The really scary thing is all of the pundits think that this re-call stuff will spread. I live in a very small state where you can actually pick up the phone and talk to the Gov or a Senator. But there are folks here who have re-call bumper stickers for our Governor since the CA movement started.

Neither Arnie nor Bill have raped anyone. It's incredible to me that people (who presumably have sex too) would use sexual issues to judge situations that have nothing to do with sexual issues. What worries me about CA is: Arnie has had NO experience as a public servant. Actually, it might as well be him as anyone else- whoever won would will be hated within 100 days, no matter what. And I too am worried the recall fever may turn our politics into total anarchy. It's expensive and time wasting and embarrassing.

Thank you Dragonmom for some refreshing common sense. What in Gods green earth does sexual activity have to do with governing ability. As rational, thinking human beings, why are we (as a whole) so obsessed with sex. I am a little worried about his political knowhow and ability but so many politicians lately are elected for other reasons, so why not him.

I think we are becoming an ever increasing society where celebrity-hood is the cream of the crop to us. Especially for the young kids, its almost like a prerequisite.
Wonder if Arnie - (can we call him that now?) - will be doing Saturday Night Live or an MTV Show?
