I know the subject of late notices has recently been discussed. I seem to be receiving mine later and later. Transactions are completed and Ebay's notices come a week later. Now, I have checks sitting in my Paypal account that, according to Paypal, were to have cleared yesterday. It still says they are clearing on October 16. This is the 17th, right? I mean, I'm not off a day am I? If it is the 17th, then what the heck is taking so long? I recently had one take almost 14 days!

It seems like ebay has always been bad with its WBNs. Business as usual with the slow enotices.

Cheryl,
Yesterday I received notice that my item had been listed, for September 23rd. Talk about late..... Do you think we could pay our fees that late?

I'm wondering if our customers are late getting theirs as well. I guess it's a good thing I send out my own WBN's. When I move money from my Paypal acct. to my bank account it's always quick; no more than 3 days. But, it's taking longer and longer to clear a check through them.

Too bad they can't also take their time with our fees! Now, those they make sure to get out ASAP.

Sometimes the people do not have enough in their account for the eCheck to clear. I have had that happen before. Not defending PayPal, I have had my go arounds with them too, but it might actually be the buyers fault.

IMHO, This is not the place to complain. You should take yor problems to eBay's chat room & complain to P/P Daimon, at least you will from PayPal, not us who don't have the answer.

I was simply giving the heads up that checks are taking longer to clear paypal than they state they should. It's a matter of keeping your customer informed that their checks may take longer to clear therefore delaying their shipment. IMO, Ebay's board is a waste of time and energy.

Same here! Thank goodness for this thread. I looked yesterday to see if an e-check payment had cleared and it hadn't. I looked now and it's showing as cleared on the 14th! Still no e-mail from PayPal. I've had several payments made this week that I never got e-mails for. It looks like we'll have to keep checking PayPal instead of looking for the notification e-mails.

BTW, I was at Atlantique City today and the ONLY thing that the eBay people wanted to talk about and the only handouts they had were "How to Sell on eBay". It was a Newbies only affair.
