Anybody else notice that if you list an item with a BIN and it sells the first day that if you go to relist the item, the duration is automatically changed to 1 day rather than what you had it originally?

I have noticed this quite a few times and if I am not careful I get burned. Also, I have had items get a BIN after about 3 days and if I relist it, the duration automatically gets changed to 3 days.

This is irritating if I am trying to do multiple relists because then I have to go into each auction and change the duration back to 7 days.

P.S. This happens when relisting on E-Bay-don't know if it happens if you relist thru a third party.

I noticed it too ( I only list through ebay ). I think ebay does it on purpose.

The 1 day and 3 day auctions almost make sense because almost every page hit or bid comes in the last day or two. A difficult to find collectible would do much better with a 7 or 10 day duration because they need every bidder they can get to maximize profit but common goods might be better off with the short durations since inventory can be turned much faster.
