I think I've seen it here... how do I turn in an INVALID email for a bidder on eBay? I am getting really tired of sending end of auction emails, and they come back undeliverable. Or is there even such a place?

TIA

I got one yesterday. Not a valid mailbox. Instantly turned it in as a bad email. Takes two or three days for ebay to NARU them.

I still wish ebay would have a popup when they bid making them verify with a yes or no click if their current ebay registered email address is correct.

Thanks Sparkz!

Yeah turned her in, but then, I get a PayPal payment from her last night, with a different email, saying, that she was having trouble changing the email with ebay. She isn't new, so I dunno. I hope I didn't get her in trouble sending her email as invalid, but hey! I get tired of those that come back invalid, then they get all over your case for not contacting them.

When an ebayer gets NARUed for a bad email address ebay doesn't send them a letter saying so-and-so has complained and turned you in for having a bad email address. You are doing the person a favor for reporting them as the next seller may leave them a negative feedback instead of reporting them. Most ebayers with bad email addresses have no idea their old email is still on record at ebay. It's as much ebay's fault as it is their since ebay does nothing to remind users to update the vital email info.

I think it would be in the best intrest of Ebay that all bidders who have had no activity for 6 months or more to be FORCED to check and update their contact info including email before being allowed to place a bid.

I STILL get occassional bidders with an @home email address. They went bankrupt over a hear and a half ago. Hotmail will suspend an email account if it hasn't been logged into in 30 days. You can easily get the hotmail back in a couple clicks but in the meantime everything going to it bounces.

Such simple things to make everything work more smoothly......

Great idea lovepotions! Anything that can cut down on the dead emails is a great idea.
