I tried listing early in the week ERROR. I went in and changed everything and wow it was gone NOW my auctions are sitting in pending with the same problem Why or Why did eBay screw with that. I have been selling 4 years and I have not encountered this many problems as I have this week. If eBay owns PayPal why don't they let us put that in their auctions instead of going here and there clicking buttons unclicking other buttons. I spent the most part of this day getting these auctions ready and now I have to spend more time. Isn't time money then why can't eBay do something about it to make it easier for us. Thanks all for answering the first venting and now it is off to eBay to try and fix it again... Sorry all just sick and tired of trying to make a little cash and eBay is bucking it.....

You are NOT alone! II have had the same problem and every time I think it's solved there's another wrinkle. Why can't it be simple. I've been following the threads but I still can't get it right.

For every one of us who posts there have to be dozen's who just give up in frustration.

OK now I went in and did the same thing I did last time. I changed everything to what it was supposed to be hit submitt and the ones earlier in the week went on. Think, again you know what, I launced more and guess what the preference buttons were back the way they were before. How does that happen. Now I have chaned them AGAIN and they went through so does that mean everytime I list auctions I have to go in a see if the buttons I unclicked earlier are clicked again. What a waste of time...

Jensmom there is another thread down below this one and someone gave the instructions on what to do. I C&P them to microsoft word so that I could have a copy close at hand. Somedays it doesn't pay to get up in the mornings that is why I sleep until noon....

Libra...Glitches and strange happenings have been showing up around Halloween ever since Auctionwatch started hosting images. I know it's probably coincidental, but it still wouldn't hurt if engineering called Ghostbusters in to do a quick check of their servers.

Same thing has happened to me 3 weeks in a row.
I'm going to be afraid to go away on Sunday night, auctions may not list if I'm not here to watch.
Ebays preferences are definitely not set it and forget it!

Hi Libra, about 2 weeks ago I was getting so confused between Vendio paypal and ebay specifics, and yes most of the time I never have to go to Vendio services and I must admit I forget it is even available for us to use because there is such great help here. It was almost like the song yes we have no bananas. What I did was I wrote 1 email and addressed it to ebay, vendio and paypal, I wrote in my email what I wanted to do and asked what I need to do to get what I want in place. Paypal responded first told me exactly what to do on their end, step by step, then vendio responded telling me my specifics were just fine and to leave them as is, then Ebay emailed back and said my editing at the paypal site did the job and I was good to go. it really worked well for me, and I could not believe the amount of time I spent on this only to have it resolved by one email and I must admit all 3 got back to me quickly.
I remember when auctionwatch/vendio was changing there plan on monthly use, there were times my listing schedule was erratic I wrote them and asked them to please check my last 3 months and could they tell me if I was using the most economic and effective plan. They got back to me quickly and guided me on selecting a plan.

okay, what am I missing? I have launched with no problems and no errors twice in the last week.

are the problems due to the Paypal logo change? I haven't changed anything in my preferences since I couldn't understand the directions. Paypal is still automatically adding the logos, same as before.

am I in for a rude awakening?

I have had no trouble either...basically I ignored the URGENT NOTICE posted by Vendio staff about the upcoming PayPal logo insertion "change". I think that notice caused WAY more problems than the change itself. I guess it was written for people who DO NOT WANT the "pay now" button in their auctions, directing their buyers to go through Vendio check out instead. IT seems a lot more people WANT the PayNow button!

If you DO want the PayPal logo and "PayNow" button to appear at the end of your auction:
Make sure you PayPal is "on" at the PayPal site and your global preferences at Vendio are set for the second option PayPal option (NOT the recommended one). Your EBay preferences (tab at the "my eBay site" should be set:
Show Pay Now button for all payment methods (formerly "Checkout On".
I don't know if it's essential or not, but I have selected "tell all my buyers i prefer paypal" and "offer paypal in all my listings"

If all of your preferences are set like this and you are STILL having problems then I have no idea what's wrong!
