ok, I give up. Anybody know what cWc sterling is?? Its on a souvenir type pin I found today.

Doesn't anybody know what this means? All I can find is something to the effect of bonds or something. did they used to use sterling to back bonds?? then all I am getting is communication workers sites.

I couldn't find anything on Google that was meaninful either. Some of the search finds make it look like a brand name or a certain manufacturer of sterling silver products.

Inside the first cover it is marked: CWC CO, Trade Mark Silver 925 over 1000 FINE #2675.

Found something about the british govt and its specifications on watches per military specs. It probably doesnt matter that much.
Its a dern world's fair coin from 64-65, and after looking, they arent doing all that great on ebay anyways.
