I have 2 huge boxes filled with an entire Noritake dinner set for 10, dinner plates, salad plates, cups, saucers, desserts, serving bowls, the whole thing
I know some about Noritake, but definitly not enough! the markings (to give an approx age, and the pattern, I guess is the hardest part. I have some Noritake, where under or over the mark is the pattern name, these do not have it.
Going through google, and replacements.com, trying to find the pattern, is impossible! there are so many
They are not newer Noritake, but I don't believe real old, though older-where I got them, the person believed they were from the 30's, I don't think so, but hey, I don't know!
Anyone here have some expertise on Noritake dinner sets.
If I posted a picture of the a piece, is it possible anyone could identify the pattern, and the mark?
Thanks in advance, hoping someone has more knowledge of this than I!

Your pics appeared dark to me so lightened them and check in my Noritake book. No luck
How about sending pics to Replacements, Ltd. They often identify patterns for me.
Good LUck

Hope that is the dinner plate for the mark as sometimes the other pieces won't show the pattern, just the dinner

Hi: That is one beautiful pattern! Don't know anything about it, but good luck to you. Let us know what you find out from replacements or wherever.

Thanks all
I took the pictures quick
the mark, the very bottom pic is on all of the pieces, the pattern, is the same on all pieces, I know the sugar and creamer pic is bad but they have that exact same floral pattern, except for the lid of the sugar, has some geometrical design on the knob.
The puzzling thing is that on most Noritake they give the pattern name below the Noritake M mark. These don't
I didn't know you could send pics to replacements for identification.
and does replacements buy things like this from you, for their stock? (just wondering if it would be better to do that?)
Thanks!

from what I see, you can email them a photo and they will identify the pattern for you. They also buy Noritake china

My book on Noritake has 450+ pictures of Rim shaped, Smooth edge, Gold trim, Floral design, Squiggly verge & No middle design. Coudn't find it. The thing that is unusual about this pattern is the green band just insider the gold trim. I should be able to spot this, but had no luck. According to the backstamp, this was made around 1940. Send a picture to [email protected] They maybe able to ID it. By the way, there are many patterns of Noritake with no name. Verycommon in the 30's.
