It's kind of difficult to id a plate without a mark on the back. Hopefully one of the ceramics experts can help. In the meantime, you might want to email replacements.com for more information on your plate. It is really pretty! If you are going to list it on ebay, take some close ups of the detailing. sorry I couldnt be more help

Platter was made by Homer Laughlin, part of their Ivory Century line. That shape was also used for HLC's Riviera, Mexicana and Hacienda lines. As for the decoration, I doubt that anyone will find the name, as HLC used hundreds of unnamed decals.

I haven't seen that decoration before, (doesn't mean much as there's lots I haven't seen) I recognized the shape and went to my reference on HLC for more info.

Max beat me to it. I was going to tell you the shape of the platter's shape reminds me a lot of Homer Laughlin--some of their lines, like Mexicana.

I am sorry, but without any backstamp, I cannot even say this is Homer Laughlin. There arew so many patterns of HLC that withoutmore diffinition I can't help you.

Thanks to everyone for the info....
Just one more question......

Was some of the Homer Laughlin unmaked?
I have searched ebay and found plates and platters that are shaped like this one, but all state that they are stamped HL on back.
Thanks again..

Yes, especially serving pieces. This is true of most lines, not just Homer Laughlin.

I've bought and sold several HL pieces (not recently, though). I'm sure you're safe in describing this platter as unmarked Homer Laughlin. Too bad you don't have a pattern name, but I'd try listing it anyway.
