I have one of the Christofle bottle openers with the Napolean profile. Most sellers seem to be listing it as "silver". I would prefer to say what percent silver it is. I have looked at the one website I can find that has French silver marks. I don't see this silver mark there. Does anyone know what percent silver these openers are? Thank you.

Christofle sells these for $50 brand-new. Since Christofle has a big line of silverplated accessories, the price is in line with a silverplated object intended as a gift.
So, my educated guess is that it is silverplated, which means silver content is virtually zero.
"Silver" is a color as well as a metal. It allows lazy or unscrupulous eBay sellers to waffle. They don't know what they have or do they care; they just want to unload it for a profit.
