Every year I am on Maui during the holiday sales time. In the past, I have edited my default messages in my listings to let buyers know that I will ship the week of "..." with plenty of time to ship for the holidays.

I am wondering if this may have cut down on my Holiday sales, although I keep in touch with all the buyers to let customers know my shipping dates. I am now torn between high sales volume or possibly lowered sales. I take an inventory list with me to track all the sales, keep reciepts on the computer so I am ready to ship.

I have changed my defaults in the WBN's to reflect shipping dates, will this be good enough or do I change the Default Lisiting Messages???? I am a little skiddish about letting people know that I am not home, leaving a potential for ransaking my house.

What do you think?
