I had a bidder from August who just filed a neg on me. Pretty stupid on her part. The problem was that she insisted I ship to an unconfirmed address, which I refused to do (part of my TOS). Total whiner from the getgo. I refunded her payment, and she still insisted I send her the item. I told her she had to resend payment with the correct mailing address, and she refused, citing that she paid for it already and it was my problem that I refunded the payment. I explained to her I would let this go, but I would file a FVF to recoup my fees. Well, today she obviously figured out what that meant, because now she negged me. I only filed a FVF, and never left feedback myself. Well, she just got her due. Stupid Bidder... Now she has added yet another negative to her growing list. Funny thing is that the complaints are the same... "she's a complainer, tried to renegotiate the deal, didn't pay, only paid part-not the full amount.

I tried to play nice, but the stupid girl tried to bite me.

Just a few minutes later, I get negged again. This time, by a deadbeat who emailed me today with the following email:

i am very sorry but i am unable to purchase this jersey, i was unable to get the money, please forgive me, a negative comment would be unnessecary, you can post the jersey back up.... sorry again
thank you
ebay buyer

I responded with the typical: non-payment = negative feedback + FVF. so he jumps first and leaves a neg. these little bastards are getting testy. H-E-L-L-O, I'm not the one who didn't pay for the item. I just love how I am the evil one, yet I didn't flake out on the agreement.

eBay's feedback system is the worst! I haven't yet gotten my first neg (I'm knocking very hard on wood right now) and I don't look forward to it. Personally, when I buy I take any negs the seller has with a grain of salt. I guess that once you start selling you look at feedback differently and understand how unreliable it is. Sorry to hear of your troubles. But, I am glad you responded in kind!

I just got my second neutral a couple of days ago because the P.O. mangled a box. Sigh. She bought insurance too, but this is supposedly still my fault. Of course, no email prior. Funny thing is, another seller who is dealing with her emailed me and is doing battle with her as well.

Yep the negs are getting ridiculous-I got one that stated that I didn't leave feedback. The day after the neg I received the buyers payment. Of course I wasn't going to leave feedback previous to receiving payment. My second one was my fault but I did everything I could to save the deal.. I notice one of my pieces was damaged. I wrote the buyer a letter stating that in good faith I could not ship the item and sent their check back as well as a very nice free gift worth over 10 bucks! Negged. I have wondered if I should even try to make things up to people or just let the negs come in anyway. These are my only two out of over `1,000 but it stinks.

I at least got to vent my frustration with the one who blacked me..no point in being polite after the deed is done Unfortunately it got boring very quickly though, between her 3rd grade level grammar and spelling and her cutesy email background which was giving me a headache.

Junebug, Maybe we need to learn to take it in stride. "Can't please all the people, all the time" no matter how hard you try.

I definately see some patterns on here tonight. (see my astrology prediction in other post ...lol)
Hope the week goes by fast!!

neroter, I think we all ought to just stay in bed this week! It certainly seems to come in phases..there might just be something to your theory!

eBay has to have a program that when you file for your FVF that the feedback portion of that auction cannot be completed. How dumb is it when someone can neg you for an auction that has never been completed. Time to go to bed.

What is Ebay explaination ? I received a neg from a newbie bidder who tried to back out of the deal Her excuse (I am a poor college student), when I didn't back down, she then tried to say my item was "fake" and she wasn't going to pay for it.

Another seller contacted me and was having the same problems. She had four feedbacks, all neg ...... finally NRU.

When she was NRU her victims (sellers) wrote to EBay and asked if they would remove the feedback she had left us. Of course they would not.
