Got this from a buyer today who claimed she'd paid through Paypal. No record of it whatsoever in my Paypal account. What would you do? I don't know where to get help from Paypal. . . .

Hi Adele...my account indicates there is no payment due. I did PayPal the
day after my bid. Interestingly...there is no "paid" icon, only dashed
lines...but the item also doesn't ask me to...or allow me to pay. Again, it
indicates I've paid. Can you check on it? I'm new to this and am uncertain
what I should do.

Lisa

make sure your buyer paid you with the correct email address {spelling of it}, have her send you a copy of the payment, and go from there.

Yes, wrights has a good idea. Otherwise if your account shows no payment......how could you do anything from your end, anyway?

I guess you are trying to help, but I dont know what you can do except tell her to call paypal. (me thinks she goofed, roads)

I had a girl to tell me the same thing...
She said "she was not having fun with Pay Pal"that she had made payment and "being new she has had a great experience with the sellers paying her for the second payment" when it didn't show up on the first one..

I told her there is no record of her paymet
and everyone else that made payment with PayPal, for auctions that closed the same time as hers, were all there.

It took a few days with her with all sorts of excuses..Finally got payment..
I had no intention of sending her money ...
I know I may look and sound dumb....Butttttt
not that dumb [winlk]

They are right. If she goes into her paypal account she will see the payment sent to you sill in the list. Evidently she spelled your email address wrong so all she has to do is go and a correct it. It's not PayPal's fault but hers.

You could tell her to call Paypal and they will check her account for any transactions. Paypal phone number- 1-888-221-1161

SHe can check her account hisory to see all transaction and get a transaction number of her payment and then talk to PayPal. I use the "history" "advanced search" feature to check payments by item number of sender email..if it isn't there, she didnt pay!

All she would had to do was look at the payment record & it would have told her "Not Claimed" Duh?? I have used PayPal since started & have yet to have problem that couldn't be explained. When I went to Verizon DSL, I forgopt to change my email address in Vendio. So for several auctions I wasn't getting paid through P/P. I called them & they said you have problem, all of your payments are going to your MSN address. Right, I was the stupe. Not P/P
