I have spent the last hour and a half looking for the maker of a candy dish I bought. I did find one like it on rubylane.com but they didn't say who the maker waw. The one they show is in amber and priced at $110. The one I bought is forest/emerald green so it should be worth more I would think. It is pressed glass and in an art deco style. I have looked on ebay and tias.com coming up empty. I know I saw one like it on tias.com a few weeks ago but can't find it again. I also looked in a book I have on depression glass but nothing. If anyone has an idea of where to look please let me know.
Thanks

Thanks for offering. I just needed a place to look but someone may know where I can search after looking at the pics.

Very pretty! Can't help you on the maker, but it almost looks like a boudoir/dressing table item--could it hold scented talcum powder and a powder puff?? The handle on the lid just reminds me of such things.

It is a tri-divided (inside) candy dish. I wish in a way that it wasn't divided so it could be used as a powder dish.

Let us know when you put it up. This would be great on a dresser for jewelry, etc. I often just toss it on the dresser and put it away later at the end of the day. Would be great to have a divided dish to toss it into. Could save an earring or two from becoming lost!

Thanks, paws4god. I try. In fact, I spend so much time doing it I drive my family crazy. They make appointments to see me. I just spent half the day trying to photograph rhinestones. Brother, what a test of my patience!

Cheryl: I agree that photographing rhinestones is the hardest thing! I just sold a pair of rhinestone shoe clips for a pittance--but taking the pictures took me a while for sure. I finally shined a very bright light on them and held my camera very still. Better than nothing.
I've been watching QVC jewelry shows to see how they "pose" jewelry. Enlightening; I"ve gotten some ideas from doing that.
