I goofed on an auction that I put on yesterday. Put in the wrong picture. Well there is now a bid on it. How can I pull the auction after it has a bid?

I would email the bidder right now and explain then change the picture on the auction or add another with explaination. Also email the right picture to the bidder allowing them to cancel if they want.

If you use Vendio to list you can replace the wrong image with the right one by first deleting the wrong one and then uploading the right one with EXACTLY the same name. It takes a little while (maybe an hour or two) for the new image to show ...you of course should send an email to the bidder with the correct image and offer to cancel the bid if necessary.

I would have to agree with neglus. If you only have one bid and you just go in and change the pic, it should be okay. Just be prepared to possibly have the bidder cancel his/her bid if it doesn't even resemble what the original photo was. Chances are that if you just listed it yesterday, there's plenty of time to change things - if it's at least a 7 day auction - before it gets a bunch of hits.

Thanks all. I sent an email to the bidder & it bounced. I'll try to change the picture.
Got everything taken care of. Cancelled the bid & the auction, rewrote it & put in the correct picture. All is well at the Neverland Ranch today. MJ is back in Vegas. Last night Lay Leno had CA Fireman as guests. One remark was "They take as many chances as a Boy Scout at Neverland Ranch" Its only 30 miles away from here.
