eBay has a new home page especially designed for newbies. You won't be able to see it unless you are signed out.
We are pleased to announce a new version of the eBay home page for unregistered users of the site. This new, "light" version of the home page will only be shown to those users who are not already registered on eBay. Registered users should still see the previous design. If you are registered with eBay, you can sign in here to get the registered user version of the home page.
The objective of this new home page is to educate new users on how eBay works. Our customer research indicated that many new users needed additional information about eBay and consequently, we tested several different designs over the past year to learn what would be the most compelling to this audience. Our final design, a version dedicated to education content, performed the best in helping new users to get started and use eBay.
Thank you for your patience through our testing. We are very excited about this new user-friendly page.

Kiara: I just looked at it rather quickly. And unfortunately, I see no reference to paying promptly OR how to leave feedback--no reference to anything after one has successfully bid on something and can click on Pay Now or such. I wonder if they have more on this somewhere else for newbies?

I have seen that page when I am using the library computer to and from the barn.
My computer is cookied up the ying yang and I don't get that 1,2,3 love from ebay at home, but it's cool.
Also, the poopheads at the library have blocked ebay! Sick and sad!
(of course I was very worried about the couple who were zipping between computers to online gamble!)
Digression aside...
