Ouch! I bet that hurt a lot of people. Please don't include me in your sig file message. I have a right to be lazy. I guess you missed the last thread about lazy people and I am NOT going to repeat it. I don't know how many others have that right to be lazy but sign in if you do and explain if you want to.

Hi all,

I'm only lazy in the morning, before I've had my coffee.

Here, on this board, I might seem to be lazy but I'm not. I don't post here until I've Googled and eBayed my question and can't find the answer. Sometimes I come up blank.

See my post about whether or not used clothing still needs to be cleaned. In that case I couldn't find the policy on the eBay page. Knew it was there but just couldn't find it... Musta been a senior moment.

Thankfully Horsey came through with a link.

Sometimes I'm the one who has the info. Thinking this time of those Christoffersen (or whoever it was) Indian child prints someone had. The info sheet on hers was covered by a frame. I'm glad I could help.

Horsey, I can see how your sig line might be taken wrong. JMHO

I think I'll change mine to: I grow old...I grow old...I shall wear the bottom of my trousers rolled. With proper credit to T.S. Eliot, of course. LOL!

Oh, Lucy, if you do, I will too-
which shall it be;
"when I grow old Iwill wear purple
and a red hat that doesn't suit me"

or,
Growing old isn't so bad- not when you consider the alternative"

"And All Shall be Well, and All Shall be Well, and All Manner of Things Shall be Well"

And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals and say we've no money for butter.

hee hee! I had to google it, to read the rest- and I quoted it wrong.
The page I found was so very purple that the screen looks green now... Okay, so how do I change my signature? I can't remember!

Dragon,

Go to My Account, Personal Preferences, Personal Information.

I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.

Gotta love that writing...

Lucy

Chill out Sanmar. No need swearing at me that is reserved for people I know and you don't know me so back off. It wasn't me it was horsey and his sig file and probably pertaining to you. This turned out to be a better thread that the worlds fair tapestry that horsey did your reasearch for.

Thanks lucy and all this was fun for a while.

Heh, I can answer that one too- Oscar Hammerstien, but not his best I don't think;

We have been gay, going our way
Life has been beautiful, we have been young
After you've gone, life will go on
Like an old song we have sung

When I grow too old to dream
I'll have you to remember
When I grow too old to dream
Your love will live in my heart

So, kiss me my sweet
And so let us part
And when I grow too old to dream
That kiss will live in my heart

I looove the standards!

And when I grow too old to dream

Your love will live in my heart

When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple
with a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
