I have just signed up for Vendio. Very pleased with their Image hosting services.

I use PayPal for Winning Bidder Notications (WBN). Just got a WBN copy today Dec 3rd for an auction that ended on Nov 19th. PayPal seems to work for a while ( afew months) and then all of a sudden WBN are not sent for days...and now weeks. They will probably be back to normal in a week or two. Frustrating because I have to send them manually of eBay. Can't count on eBay.

I WAS thinking about Vendio WBN, though on the day I signed up I saw some people complaining about Vendio's WBN saying that some were sent out saying "You owe XXX.XX and shipping of X.XX"...I am paraphrasing but basically Vendio was literally sending out invoices with "X's" instead of numbers. I instantly said well the lessor of two evil WBN is PayPal. Now I am not so sure. Has anyone used Vendio for a long time. HOW TIMELY ARE VENDIO's WBN.... HOW ACCUARTE AND CONSISTENT?...CAN ANYONE ELSE COMPARE WITH PAYPAL?

Thank you!

AH

I've been using the Vendio WBN forever.
Have had no real problems, but customers seem to like to ignore the WBN.

They seem to use info from Ebay or directly through paypal.

I like to see customers follow cadence, but I guess as long as I receive payment it doesn't matter what they prefer

I've always used Vendio - can't compare it to paypal, but I've heard bad things about paypal ones being late. Ditto to what dad said - many people ignore them and go directly through the checkout, but I don't care as long as I get paid.

In fact, I do put in my auctions that the checkout is optional, and the first line of my WBN says they can go through ebays checkout and plug in the shipping choice listed in the auction itself. I use the WBN more as an information email I guess.
