I get a call from Richard last night. Seems his $29 DVD player is broken. He spend hours trying to get tech support but had no luck.

I didn't tell him "I told you so" because he was so upset so I will say here "I TOLD YOU SO".

i bot a toshiba tv with dvd and vcr built in and it works great.it comes from bestbuy,free delivery

One good thing about Wally World is that they do returns/exchanges..hope he's taking it back!

I don't think he can bring it back to Wal Mart. He bought it from a guy he met in the Wal Mart parking lot. No receipt! Do they take things back without a receipt?

They will take back for a store credit without a receipt. They will not give him his money back.

Your friend Richard doesn't sound like the sharpest of fellows. Who the hell buys electronics in the Walmart parking lot? The only reason that this person is probably selling is because they are stolen. Wal Mart video tapes their parking lots. Can you say duh???

all that ss jewelry i bot from fluffy,i sell them at walmart parking lot.sometimes bestbuy.

I did warn him against buying this DVD from a guy in a parking lot. He wanted it badly for $29! He has learned a lesson and is out $29 bucks.

really- isn't this the situation where he bought from someone who grabbed a whole bunch in the early hours of the day after thanksgiving sale? If that is the case, then the guy in the parking lot is just charged him the price they were charging inside (nice guy!) and I am sure WallyWorld would stand behind the product. I think without a receipt you get a replacement item or store credit.

neglus - yes it's the story about my friend Richard. he was able to contact the company and they were ablt to help him fix the problem. Alls well for now.....

Some Wally World employee b..ch in my city kicked some people off the property just for trying to GIVE AWAY a litter of puppies. I stood there and listened to her gripe them out just for that. I can't believe they don't stop people from selling merchandise in the parking lots but they get all over someone who want to get rid of some puppies.

My mother in law works at a Wally World and she said lots of people have been returning those players. They sold out in her store in 4 minutes.
