The site has a history of glitches and downtime. I use to call it one of the worst internet sites but it's become a little better in the last couple of years.

When I have problems with the USPS site I switch browsers. I have a lot of problems with Internet explorer but Opera works fine there.

Can't seem to get in to the USPS Shipping Assistant, either. "An unexpected system error has occured." Wonder what the problem is?
