I had an auction that ended, sent "WIN" emails, email bounced back. Notified ebay. Buyer became unregistered. 3 days letter I get a message from same buyer: "As you can tell I am having some problems with my ebay userid. They made me change my userid and my email has also changed. When it gets
worked out maybe we can close this transaction???"
The email from the same user id. I don't know what her new one is. I don't think she can still bid on anything. Can she? How do I collect for the fees. Do I need to go through the entire 17 day process ? Anyone know?

You can still close the deal.
Her ID doesn't need to be working.
You have a working Email that she sent you to tell about the problem!

I wouldn't jump the gun on getting fees back. If you accept checks or money orders- you might get paid anyway. I've been paid a couple of times from buyers who were NARU'd shortly after they won an auction from me.

I just tried to send her an email through my email service and it bounced back again. I think the "contact a member" message may have gone through. I don't know. I just can't contact her. We'll see what happens. I didnt know that an "unregistered user" can still use "contact a member". Interesting.

I think I'd be tempted to send her a Paypal invoice. Is this feasible in this situation?
