I sold an item on Monday, and as I sometimes do, checked the buyers feedback. Had several neutrals, and lots of comments under the positive one about being gives negs by this buyer, so I checked the feedback they had left. They have left 13 feedback, 4 of which are negatives, and 5 neutrals. Some things were for things that they said were "unmarked" , when the item description clearly stated that fact, and really trivial complaints.
Would you say anything when to them about letting you know if there is a problem BEFORE they leave feedback.
By the way, I DON'T leave feedback until the buyer says they have received the item.

She said this person hands out negs like Candy. It's only wise in this situation to let let them know right up front, you stick me, I'll surely stick you right back!
Say nothing and you KNOW what that buyer is prepared to do. Oh well,
That's NOT a threat, That's a FACT.
Trivial negs dwindled once I told it like it is.
Works for me and I say that on ALL of my end of auction notices. A few had intentions of nailing me. And they Mentioned my statement. Saved my bacon more than once.
Whatever makes your boat float. 1200+ pos. and 15 negs. 3 yrs.

I had the same thing happen with a seller who bid and won about 7 of my lobby card lots. This person has over 3,000 feedback as a seller but only leaves negs (had left over 35) and doesn't bother to leave positives.
I was holding my breath, but just made an exception to my general rule of leaving feedback when I ship. This person never left feedback for me so I have yet to leave any for him. But, in his case, no feedback is good feedback...maybe yours will turn out to be the same.
I wouldn't put anything that could even be conceived as a threat in any emails though.

There are a couple of things you can say. i.e. I will leave your feedback after you have examined your purchase and left your feedback for me. or as I say in my letter that is in with their item. "If you have a spare moment please examine your purchase and let me know if your item arrived safe and sound. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or problems concerning your order.

If I feel the need to leave a neg. I do it right before the 90 day deadline. I've only done it twice, once I got retaliated. But hey, still after 90 days HE HADN'T PAID.

Thanks for the helpful comments, I feel like I need to handle this one with "kid gloves". As soon as the transaction is over, they are going on my blocked bidder list.
