I don't know anything about them, but I think one of their group found my auctions.

I got an email today from someone offering me $3.00 for a postcard I listed for $5. He was even nice enough to say he would pay the requested $1.50 shipping on top of it.

In the spirit of the Holidays, I sent a polite thanks but no thanks email and let it go at that

Edited because I still can't spell.

I have used them. My typical offer for a brand new item that sells for $20-40 retail(depending on the item) is $2-5. These items sell fine on other sites at resonable prices. So I personally have not found them to be beneficial.

I tried them, sold a couple of things. Very few hits, no listing fees, high fvf's. I won't be using them again.

I think they may be the highest selling venue after ebay and Yahoo and a few of the wildly successful niche sites. They also have a very high FVF on small sales.( minimum of 50 cents ) The people that run ioffer have the art of listing ioffer items on the internet search engines down to a fine science.
Last week I had a $160 sale and a $25 sale today. I'm going to close my ebay store in a few days and just use the free ioffer store.

Are we talking about the same place, i.e. the former eWanted?

I have not looked through the stores, but I browsed some of the Wanted offers for sterling silver jewelry. I had to laugh. These folks were specific to a fault about what they wanted and draconian in their limits on the price they'd pay.

That's great, I guess, if it's just a "nice to have" item, not something you really need.

However, if they're looking to stock their businesses by using iOffer, they are doomed to disappointment. No one supplies silver jewelry that cheaply.

I was amused by the increasing frustration displayed by the persons who posted the offer when they didn't get EXACTLY what they'd asked for. These people wouldn't know a business opportunity if it smacked them in the face like a wet herring.

Wouldn't you know it, auctiondoofus is the only loser to praise the site full of losers the think it is ok to offer one dollar for a thousand dollar item. Fact is, only crap sells there and no one spews more crap than auctiondoofus.
