Question: I am putting auctions in pending to launch later do I have to go in and check to see if my images will be deleted before listing or since they are in pending will they stay?
Have you seen anything like this? What catagory do you think I should use?
The top part is metal and heavy. The lower part is a blue brush with a gold metal cover. The designer is a well known jewelry designer. This is not a piece of jewelry.
Thanks to all who can help and also to the ones who can't.

Libra, why don't you go to Google & research the name? It might be a rarity.

I found on Google that Ernest Stiener was or is a jewelry maker from NYC. There could be more, but at least there is a start.

It looks like something was attached to that flat circle on the top... Could it be a pin for a tam-o-shanter

Ho I doubt if there was something at the top of the head. The hat looks like the top of a tack. The top part is very heavy I have had this for about a month and have been researching this piece. I can't put it on until I find out what it is. The jewelry designer is very well known for fine jewelry.

Could it be a brush for a silent butler?

looks like a small wisk broom. The figure is obvious a stylized black woman--is there a Black Americana area?

Dragonmom I doubt that because if you use it for that you would have scratches on your cheeks.

In answer to your first question, you can see if your pictures are still on the auction by checking your images file, Vendio ususally give you a few days before they delete them, and if they are still on the file, they will still be on the pending auction. Make sure you have your pictures on for the maximum time allowable, I just changed mine. I am wondering if clicking on your own auction, and bringing up the pictures will update them in the file, or maybe the auction has to be on eBay before that happens.

Amber - clicking on your images that are about to be deleted ( in red) from "image hosting" refreshes them and they shouldn't be deleted for another 90 days or whatever time period you have selected for image deletion.

Hi all,
Just a guess... A clothes brush.
Looking on eBay there are a few completed auctions for Ernest Steiner. One's a pill or snuff box, another is for a powder scoop and perfume funnel combo. Maybe he designed things other than jewelry? Vanity items?
Hmmm... I wonder...

Dragonmom,
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.

There definitely IS a black americana site under "Collectibles" - look at cultures/ethnicity -- I think that's where you get to it. I would put it there, and list it perhaps in a jewelry category as well.
