for some reason I actually had over a few hundred of these at home.. and I've recently used them up.

was wondering if anyone can direct me to a place to sells them.

there's quite a few on ebay.. and I'm sorting through all the listings right now (can sometimes be a headache)

I figure there'll be some sites out there offering fairly competitive and low prices on these though, and people here probably have quite a few place in mind.

USPS gives free packaging but its for priority mail only, and its not really necessary to pay so much when first-class mail will do sometimes.

thanks for any info

Try this one

I just went to google and typed in bubble mailers. I bought some last year online, I cannot remember where, but I searched around until I found a place closer to where I live so the shipping charges would be less. good luck

I've always used "bubblefast" who is a seller on ebay. Fast, reasonable and efficient...plus they are nice folks.

I buy them at one of those membership clubs such as Sams Club. I buy #'s 0,2,& 5 which gives me small, medium and pretty large. 20 or 25 at a time in a box. For christmas hubby bought me a weighted tape dispenser-paid a pretty penny for it, too, but thinks it will make wrapping easier. I get rolls of brown paper at WalMart, as Sams Club doesn't have in small enough quanities. Get bubble WRAP at Sams Club, large box. That pretty well takes care of my needs though planning to hit a local furniture store outlet to see about that foam wrap. Figured out where and how to store it. Ruthie

It dpends on where you live also re: shipping. Bags Unlimited is great, they are online and you can make arrangements to pick up via phone, they are in Rochester NY. Parrotthead is a great seller for this and they ship from Fl. I just went to my local dollar store last week and had special ordered with them for 1000 and worked out a cheap price with the owner and of course no shipping cost for me.

Fluffy why buy brown paper for your packages go to the grocery store and get your grocery's in paper bags and use that. I like that better than the rolls becuase they are not quite so heavy. WalMart had bubble wrap for $1.50 a big roll. I don't know if that is their regular price or not. I am sorry I didn't buy more bubble envelopes from Quill. They were the nicest bubble envelops. I keep checking back but they don't seem to have anymore. darn.....

I use Gatorpack on eBay. Very good prices. For example, 100 (a case) #5 bubble mailers, including UPS shipping, is $49.98, which works out to 50 cents per mailer. Great prices on bubblewrap & tape, too.

Quill.com
was posted here a while ago, they have a closeout section and the prices are extreeeeemely good.
I have used them.
I can get 8 1/2 by 11 bubble envelopes at the local dollar store two for a buck, so in a pinch, but quill has a better deal and I can cut them up even smaller...hehe

I bought 'em all. You should see my living room.

All those stacked cases do make a darned fine feline viewing platform, though.

Well Fluffy are you going into the bubble envelope business if so me first.
No someone has to make those envelopes somewhere. They were the nicest ones. I liked the long edge with the opening instead of the short edge. Well if anyone finds them plese post on this board. Now I am going to search the web to see what I can find.

They were called "side loading". That might help in your search. Made by Pactiv, I believe.

quill.com is the best. I used to be a bubblefast customer, but their customer service was definitely lacking when I had a problem. I dumped them, and since I have I've discovered way cheaper sources. It's amazing when a problem actually leads me to save money.

I'm just curious--how much do these envelopes cost at Sam's Club? We can't find them at Costco--or maybe I haven't looked hard enough?

I agree those sideloaders from Quill are the greatest! Wish they'd have another sale. I was awfully glad to get their e-mail and let you all know about their sale, a while back. We need to tell each other when there's another one somewhere.

I just ordered a case of bubble mailers from Libra's source (case of 250 size 0 for $45 postage paid; I think I paid $6.00 for 25 mailers at Sam's club) - don't know how it will turn out but THEY SURE WERE NICE on the phone! I don't need bubble mailers very often but use them for combined orders of more than 2 and also when insurance is required since my PO is a stickler for the thickness rule on insured packages! This case should last me! THanks for the link Libra!

Neglus: I'm glad you, too, have discovered Quill. They are terrific! And just how big is a size 0 envelope? I'm curious. Adele

Adele - I looked at Quill this summer and even bookmarked it but didnt need mailers at the time and couldn't foresee needing a huge quantity of them so I didn't order (DARN!)..now it seems like people are combining like crazy and I am going through mailers fast! Libra provided a link to the Linton Company above and it looks like those envelopes are the side load bubble..size 0 is 6x8.5 http://www.bubblemailers.biz/.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
