This is totally off topic but ... it's the first day of Mac World where APple usually introduces or announces their big new addition and this one must be a doozy because they have taken their entire online store offline leaving only a post-it note saying they'll be back soon. This is just plain mean and I want to know what the new toy is and I want to know NOW!

Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn! It's the mini iPod. I KNEW when I read that article last week that mentioned the name of the company the Apple would have to go with for harddrives if they chose to downscale the size I should have looked at the stock. I KNEW it and yet still I did nothing. Damn Damn Damn Damn Damn.
Of course I'm also kicking myself over not buying Hot Topic stock when it dropped into the $10 range after 9/11 and now it's in the mid 30s with no competition to cause a drop.

I can't help myself Fluff - I love my Mac -I've loved Mac since the mid 80's. Everytime I have had to work with a PC I have cursed it's existance. I told computer Guru at my old company I needed a good grahics system - I didin't even think that I had to specify Mac - I thought everyone knew they were the standard - he presented me with a Gateway spawn of satan that I did battle with for 3 months until I organized a personal work stoppage until they got me a real system.
My first loves are graphics and photo manipulation. Photoshop is my version of a video game and I'm trying to get around to start playing with video editing. They only thing that would ever make me consider aquiring a PC would be if the good fairie of lost causes presented me with my old beloved Profit program which MS decimated. Until that day I'll live with Quickbooks.
