Friday night was cancelled around here. It was 20 below zero - actual temperature!. We watched some DVDs and our auctions and sipped hot chocolate. Thank goodness there is no wind - the wind chill would be awesome. It is a balmy 1 degree this morning, with bright sun.

earthmum; I know what you mean by cold. I was down to 39 degrees this AM when I took my dog for a walk. That is 39 degrees above zero. LOL. For 50 years I lived in Minnesota, so I know cold. Now the Cental Coast of CA where +30 is cold.

I read all of these posts about cold, ice and snow, then go get dressed, throw on a sweater or a coat and step outside where I suddenly remember I live in San Diego and it's in the mid 60's.
