I currently have a customer who was the winning bidder on one of my auctions however still has yet to pay. My question to you all is the following.
I definatly don't want to leave this person "Negative Feedback", for fear of retaliatory "Negative Feedback". I have tried to contact the winning bidder numerous time with no response on his or her behalf. If I file a "Non Paying Bidder" alert with Ebay...and that customer is reprimanded, can they still leave me Negative Feedback once their account etc is reinstated?
Thanks,
Ryan

They WON't be reprimanded, that is just a fomallilty to get SOME of your fees back. E bay cares less. You had better believe they can STILL leave you the dreaded NEGATIVE feed back. NEVER leave anything for them. NEVER as a SELLER. Just file and go through the hoops. Reinstated? IT takes, 3, Different people to get a NON paying bidder BOOTED.

Good luck. Don't bother the loser personally agin, just do the NPB process.

If it's not much money don't even bother with the NPB. You get peanuts back from e bay anyway. How much was the purchase price?

NEVER leave anything for them. NEVER as a SELLER

And you are the same person always crying that the feedback system is flawed. But yet, you are the first person saying to break the system by not leaving what is rightfully deserved. If this person doesn't and up with a neg, you can bet other sellers will give the benefit of the doubt and give them extra time to respond or pay. If a bidder has negs, no way will they get the benefit of the doubt and will likely get the boot sooner as the sellers will file the NPB's and FVF's much more swiftly.

File your NPB. Then your FVF. Then leave a big fat NEG.

What specicificaly do you mean when you state

"If it's not much money don't even bother with the NPB. You get peanuts back from e bay anyway. How much was the purchase price?

You mean Ebay charges you for filing a Non Paying Bidder alert? The sale was for $40.00..please tell me what you think my best course of action is...thanks.

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT NEG IS SO BAD?? I have almost 700 positives with 9 negs. Almost everyone of these negs has been for a NPB. Do I give a damxx? Hezl no!! My Positives so far outwaY THE NEGS THAT MY BUYERS DON'T GIVE A SHIZT. If you could read my positives, you would understand what I mean. If the neg is justified, then give it & live with the answer. I have never understand why it is so bad to get a neg when you are the one who has been wronged.
What the Hxxx! You are a newbie. If they won't pay, leave them a NPB & go on from there. I just looked & you haven't been on a month. Quit worrying about a neg & worry about getting paid.

No e bay does not charge you but you will only get partial fees back. E bay always wins and you will lose some money. Others will break it down to the actual amounts. Not my thing.

$40.00.........file. BUT do NOT bother with leaving any comments in the public forum called feed back. Does Nothing for you. Filing does,,,,,,,,,If they DO NEG you then by all means give the same,, they MAY just slither away. End of them.

I need to read what - you telling a seller that they should just freely donate funds to ebay and not bother to file for FVF when someone does not follow thru or your advice that will result in letting a deadbeat have a free ride at the expense of the next seller they decide to flake on.

I can read just fine thank you and in either case - in my opinion your advice stinks and does a misservice to both the OP and in ebay sellers in general.

PLEASE DO file for your FVF credit!

PLEASE DO NOT leave fb until yer pretzel-choker does first!

FB does NOTHING but open you to retalitory NEGS -- HOWEVER, filing for yer FVF credits bothers MAMA-MEG & THAT is what gets bozos thrown off feeBay!

MOST ebay eBayers will NOT leave a retaliatory feedback. Don't give in to this fear. If you do, it just makes the ebay feedback system worthless. If you use feedback (and we all do), you need to do your duty and contribute to it. How can we respect ourselves if we take and give nothing in return?

I won't agree or disagree with any other seller on here because someone will always say you're wrong...but my personal feeling is, if someone doesn't pay you, you leave them negative feedback. Every bidder who has not paid me over the course of my 6 years of selling on eBay has received a negative. They deserved it and they knew it. Knock on wood...I have yet to receive even one retaliatory negative in return for leaving a deserving negative on a deadbeat bidder.

What has the date that someone joined Vendio and the number of posts they've made here got to do with how long they've been on ebay?

Arthur Brown...

"Fire!"

Saw him in "concert" in 1970 along with The Holy Modal Rounders who sang "I wanna Be A Bird" from what famous 60's road-trip flick?

HINT: Jack in a football helmet

(at least I think dat was the name of that group & that song: my last year of college was, shall we say, chemically altered??)
