These are not nude but WHAT does it have to do with selling model ships... You would not believe the outfits at Christmas. Sheer and I mean sheer baby-doll nighties on the other models hahaha not the ships.. How does this guy keep getting away with putting scantily clad girls into his pictures?
When I saw the nude article it made me thing of this guy so I went and found his eBay store and sure enough they are still there but a little better dressed. Of course I didn't check out all his auctions but this is a good example.
When I found this before Christmas I was dumbfounded and thought it a joke and his auctions at that time made me think he was pimping instead of selling ships. He has some nice model ships but am I being a bit too pure in mind or what. Would like to hear others opinions. I know they are clothed but still think it has its place and not in auctions. Wish you could have seen them at Christmas and the wording and then that shipping is wow.

What did a Hitleresque speech a woman in jogging shorts and a hammer have to do with an Apple computer? What do bikini models have to do with circular saws?

It's not a matter of purity of thought process, it's about capturing the attention of you market and considering the 100% sell thru rate of this seller over the past month or so it looks as though they have caught peoples attention. The fact that you remembered the seller shows that their technique is successful.

Sex is used to sell everything these days in every other advertising medium - why should ebay be any different?

Obviously, this is nautically (NTM: naughtilly) related because she is wearing a LIFE PRESERVER (Mae West)

Sheeesh! Some folks are soooo ill-informed about da SALTY LIFE!

Another thought type his user name into search by seller and to show all items and look at the models first part of December. You will get better idea what I was talking about. Not sure the lookers were looking at the ships either.

Tomwii you got a nice looking pardner there. Maybe he can model in your auctions. Everyone would say "Ain't he cute!" or is it a she? Nice Pup anyway.
Don't get me wrong everyone, I know sex sells but what happened to that rule at ebay about not modeling any of the items up for sell . I am thinking it is no permitted or have they changed that? If so I need to get a model for my boots and stuff. But I think the toys are out on the modeling part. haha.

SHE?? SHE?? With a name like "Ralph?"

Actually, at one time, Ralphie was considering a career in the Manchu Imperial Household staff and underwent a "delicate" procedure, so, "IT" is probably more appropriate??

This message from paypal "sort of" could apply to these type of listings ....
[excerpted]:

"PayPal Policy Update --- Edited Seller Protection Policy to clarify coverage and requirements. Updated Mature Audiences section of the Acceptable Use Policy because PayPal may no longer be used to sell items in eBay's Mature Audiences section."

Since there is no actual nudity in the ads they would not be Adult Audiences auctions so I don't think that would apply.

Although it may upset your personal morality to use T&A to sell a model ship all of the models in the pics are wearing a great deal more than the average swimsuit model as seen in the current 132 auction for the type of calendar. If this was a mature audiences auction then so would be every calendar, SI Swimsuit edition and the like.

The real issue is his hot link to his website used as a photo credit...
