I just looked at the new profile page and although in general, I think it is much cleaner and easier to read, there is a change that I find troubling. It appears that they are now taking the finished auctions right out of the database instead of leaving them for the previous 90 days. In the past, part of my evaluation of buyers and sellers has been to click and see what they are buying and selling. Now you won't be able to do that.
It appears to go further. I just went to MyEbay and on all my auctions that finished this week I can no longer see the actuall auction page. There have been a couple of instances in the past where I was able to stop some problems by sending a link to the ended auction page and point out that indeed, the description/photo did state thus and so.
I personally think this is a bad thing for the Ebay community. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I must be in the twilight zone cause I just clicked on someone elses profile and yes they are working. Then I went to MYebay and now they work. Guess I need to go to bed.

What I don't like about it is that the for sellers and for buyers lists only include transactional feedback.
I know I have at least 350 from buying but it only shows 59.

whatnot3,
I guess you are talking about the recent ratings box. I have done very little selling in the past 12 months, just some purchases and you are right there are only 45 for the past twelve months. I guess this info is only going to be for the most recent 12 months. The total is still to the left of the recent ratings box though.

Whatnot,
I see what you are saying. I didn't even notice those tabs, I do need to go to bed. It appears that it only goes back, maybe three years. I have been a member since early 99 and My last transaction on these tabs is 01. I have a total of well over 800 but in this area only about half, 360 are noted. Actually, two or three years of previous history may be enough to evaluate an Ebayer.

What I don't like is instead of feedback past week, month and 6 months, it is now month, 6 months, and 12 months. It takes 12 months now for negs to drop off instead of 6. I guess for buyers that is good, doesn't really do anything for the seller though.
