Hi
I had someone use BIN 1hr after I listed this item but they didn\'t contact me right away so on Jan. 10th I emailed them a second email saying that I would like to hear from them by Jan. 11, if I don\'t I will relist this item.
Well, I was a little upset that they knew how to stop my auction real quickly but didn\'t know how to ans. my email as quickly. What also bothered me was there feedback was just 1 and I was thinking that maybe they are not serious about what they did.

So, on Jan. 10th this is the reply I received from them.....(ill use bid pay in next few days and make sure parcel is sent no later than
following day after receiptr of money)...........But they didn\'t pay me with bidpay till Jan. 19th and I still didn\'t get conformation from bidpay yet.
Now, my question is would any of you sellers ship there item out on Jan. 20th? like he ordered it to be done..........but at the same time he made me wait the full 11 days before he paid me with bidpay and now I will be waiting another 4 or 5 days for the money order............is this normal, do any of you have this happen to you?
I have been selling since 1998 and this is the very first time a buyer did payment in this fashion............Whatever happen to payment arriving before the 10th day after the auction?...........I do state that in my listings.
I am just looking to see what other sellers do when a buyer uses an on line payment site.

I have always shipped out the next day after receiving conformation of payment being made, and I do the same when MO or checks arrive.

Hi Toni, (ya got paid) much better than not getting paid. When the Money Order is comfirmed ship the item. Then move on to the next sale.

May the luck of the Irish always be with you.

No, do not ship until you receive confirmation & the MO.

How do you know they really paid with bidpay if you didn't receive conformation.

Your buyer said "make sure parcel is sent no later than
following day after receiptr of money". You will have receipt of the money when Bidpay confirms it, so I wouldn't have a problem in the least about waiting until then to ship. Send him an email as soon as you get the confirmation, so he knows the status. You can even say "Per your request, I am shipping......etc". Good luck!

Hi,

He says "...make sure parcel is sent no later than following day after receiptr of money"

Simple - send it the day after you get the money order. That's when you have the money.

OhMsLucy is absolutely correct. DO NOT ship until you have received the MO in your acct. Until then you are at risk.

OhMsLucy.....you saw it in a way that I didnt, .....I guess it's just another way to read into a persons meaning but I like your way........lol..............But I am thinking my buyer means as soon as I get conformation is when they want me to ship.......

But My question is .......buyer waited 11 days before paying me (and I won't have the money for at least another 4 or 5 days) but was quick to use the BIN feature..........So Now I am the one who is being rushed to ship??? this is what I am having a problem with.....

Toni,

He said after receipt of money. Which means after you have the dough in your hot little fist and not a moment sooner! LOL!

I do completely understand, though. I have a bidder who didn't bother to read emails and I'm just chomping at the bit to start NPB on her.

Ticks me off when someone is a flake!

Do not send the item until the check is taken out of the mail box and is in your hand. This guy took his time paying, in fact you had to drag it out of him. Now you must protect yourself. With all of the fake e-mails out there, you never know. Sure, you could check your auctionpayments.com account, but why? If it is legite, the check will be in the mail. This guy doesn't get to pick prefered shipping when he did not pay for it or pay for it promptly.

Just to mess with the buyer though - after you ship it, email them and tell them that you usually ship the same day payment arrives but as per their instructions, you waited until the next day.

On my auctions customers always have 10 days to pay for an item. This includes if they choose to use BIN.

I'm not sure why you got upset because someone did not pay right after they purchased with BIN. If you want immediate payment with BIN there is now an option for that.

Emailing him so soon and telling him you would relist probably seemed abrupt so he waited several days to pay.

Once his money order clears ship the package on your next shipping day.

Don't you love it when a buyer tries to tell YOU how to run your own auction? I'd wait until the MO was in my hand, then I'd ship...in a day or two. Why hurry? Then email this person as soon as the package is on it's way. Stay professional in your correspondence. Then move on!
