You will not get your Paypal confirmation of payments!

RR has a spam blocker against PP.
This just started today or last night.

Many have written both RR and PP.
Each, of course, blames the other.

Go Figure!!

Write them till they get so tired of it that maybe one of those idiots will pick up a telephone and RESOLVE this problem!

It's noted on the PAYPAL community board as well.

It's not just RR. Seems several ISPs have instituted some sort of anti-spam crusade recently.

Hotmail was sending eBay and Paypal into a "Junk" folder after their new anti-spam program started last month.

You actually use RR as your email address? I've had RR for a couple of years now and have NEVER logged into my account there. I don't even know what my address is.

Get a real domain name and forward it to a Yahoo mail account. If you ever change ISPs you can take it with you.

I am [email protected]. If you send email to that address, it goes to my web host, which then forwards it to my Yahoo account.

That will never change, regardless of what ISP or web hosting service I use, because I OWN THE NAME.

I have RR in my home office, dial up through MSN from my warehouse/shipping facility. This doesn't matter to me, I could change tomorrow if I wanted to. Because my own domain name is where the mail goes.

Domains are $7.95 at godaddy.com so there is NO reason not to have one.

Let the ISPs play their games.

Yep, we are dealing with this too!

Replay, Roadrunner also hosts websites as well as providing access. If they are hosting your domain (so you can have a real address as you call it), then yes, mail would go through them.

As for a Yahoo address - that's a laugh. When we first realized this mess was happening this morning, that's the first thing I did was to go set up a Yahoo address and even paid $20 to be able to set up auto-forwarding to may domain addresses. Sent a few test emails to this new Yahoo address (from Roadrunner servers AND others) and not a one has still arrived yet.

There is no perfect solution.

Sorry if I sound grumpy - we've just had major headaches today with all of this mess! Been on the phone with both RR and PP and still no answers! GRRRRR

I don't know what you set up at Yahoo, but something must be insanely wrong with your SPAM filters or something.

I have the paid Yahoo account, and have for years. I sell on five or six different venues and have dozens of business related emails every day. To my knowledge I've NEVER lost a real one.

I'd never trust a free email account.
