I just tried to revise an item that has 4 days left and no bids. I get a message that they are unable to process my request, I went to the link about announcements and there is nothing about revisions. Is there a new trick? Thanks.

Try to log in first.
Clear your cashe.
I had trouble with old version IE.
Try more than once to see if you get same responce.
Do you have a popup blocker running?
There can be a lot of different reasons.

1. Place hands on computer.
2. Pray fervently to the God of Gates.
3. Take two aspirins.
4. Wait 15 minutes.
5. See if you can revise.

An update on problem, here is the response from eBay. It looks like it is not me. I think it is very nice that they got back to me so quickly.
"Thanks for writing to us. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you with your questions.
Thank you for writing to tell us that you could not revise your item.
We are aware of the problem and are working hard to get it fixed. We apologize for any trouble this may be causing.
You may want to end the auction, relist with the correction and write back to request a credit of the orginal listing fee for the above item number.
Thank you for your patience and taking the time to report this to us.
It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay."

I revised one earlier. Fluffy was commenting earlier that she couldn't access her seller listing page and that Ebay must be making changes somewhere in their system.
Sure enough, when I revised my auction, they now have a new Java applet that opens up where you revise your auction. Since I added a second catagory, it brought up every catagory I had listed in, in the last month or so.
Do you have Java on your computer? If not, go to Sun Java and download a free one, since Microsoft doesn't have one anymore.
The new and improved (ha!) Java thing could be your problem.

I've had that problem before. Ebay is constantly tinkering and about half the time thei site is not 100% friendly to Internet Explorer (any version). It's most noticeable and frustrating when you try to revise. I downloaded the Opera browser and when Ebay and IE aren't speaking I switch to Opera and have no problems. You might want to consider downloading Netscape and/or Opera for those times when browser related problems pop up.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
