McJane Didn't you have an appt with an architect this past week for viewing your new house plans?

Well? Hows it going?

We've chewed our fingernails to the nubs waiting to hear.....

Hi glassgrl
I'm here every, every, every day. Read every word in chessguy's thread & your thread where you mentioned gator, which I use & love & am now I'm afraid it's something I should dump. Help...Do I really have to.
Can it really be that bad.

I even listed four auctions last night, eBay Bidder Beanie Babies that I get free for using a credit card. Better than cash back, they sell for about 30.00 each. Can't imagine anyone paying that for them, but they do.

Yes, I did meet with the architect & I would take a picture of the plans & post it, but the metal clip on the floppy stuck inside my camera, Sony Mavica FD. When I pulled the disk out the clip stayed inside. I have heard of this happening to others & now it's happened to me. It's so far in it can't be reached. I have someone looking at it, but don't hold out for much hope of their fixing it.

I don't even know if I like the the plans for my new house & sometimes I just want to tell everyone just put it back exactly the way it was & get it over with. I don't know what I want anymore. I never imagined it would take this much time. As far as my old house, IT'S STILL THERE & I see it every day.

The new plans....the dining room is where the kitchen was & the kitchen is where the dining room was. The living room is right along side the kitchen which makes it a huge open area with a fireplace. There are two bedrooms in the front of the house & the master room is now over the garage, has a large closet & a walk in closet, that room is five steps up from the rest of the house. Before there was just a roof over the garage. The garage is oversized, smaller than a two car & bigger than a one car so it's a nice size room.
I think the walk in closet should be a powder room though. Across from the two bedrooms are two bathrooms, one with a tub & one with a shower stall & also a washer & dryer. I can't see two bathrooms side by side. I want to make one of them a laundry & storage room & stick with just a powder room in the master bedroom. One thing I really like is going through the garage & up just seven steps to get into the house or you could go down seven steps to the basement. Before we never went in the garage to get in the house because there were fourteen steps up. The new room I added is not included in the plans, but can be if I want it. I might just let it go because we never really used it after it was added on. The kitchen is kind of nice, big with a nice view of the woods & an island in the middle & sliding doors onto the deck, the dining room will also have doors onto the same deck. Sounds nice & it is nice, but I need to make a few changes.
I miss my old house though, I really do.

I'm bored to death living in this trailer with virtually nothing to do & honestly the highlight of my day is to stop in EO & see familiar names & read posts. eBay may not be a community, but to me this is, I enjoy it so much & love being part of it. It's good to be here, my little salvation.

Hi mcjane,

I'm glad to hear that you are making some plans and your new home sounds beautiful.

Too bad about your camera, I hope you can get the clip out again. I'll have to check mine more often and make sure they're secure. So far I've been lucky, once one of the labels peeled partway off the disk and that was scary when I couldn't get it out right away.

Good to see you stop in here once in awhile, take care.

Hi Kiara,
The people who are going to look at it repair copiers, not the same thing, but they do have some tools that might be able to reach way down & believe me that clip is way down there. Yes, do remember to check the metal clip & if it's loose, toss the disk. Not worth losing a camera that is no longer easy to replace.
I had a label stick too, very scary.

Really, I'm here everyday "lurking" loved your reply on the FLD post.

Hi McJane!!

It's nice to see you post here! I think about you often and wonder how you are - I have emailed you a few times, but I guess I must have the wrong email address

The new house sounds great! I know what you mean about missing the old house. But it sounds like you have some really good ideas of how you want the new one, so go for it!

Take good care of yourself!

Gator

Company The Gator Corporation

URLs Website (http://www.gator.com/)
Product(http://www.gatoradvertisinginformationnetwork.com/help/gainfaq.html)
Privacy (http://www.offercompanion.com/help/privacy_statement.html)

Functionality Fills in passwords for you and shows you a lot of ads.

Description "Upon visit of some Gator related pages, it tries to download and install.

According to Tribune Media Services (via http://www.securitynewsportal.com/ via http://www.cexx.org/gator.htm): "Gator tracks the sites that users visit and forwards that data back to the company's servers. Gator sells the use of this information to advertisers who can purchase the opportunity to make ads pop up at certain moments, such as when specific words appear on a screen. It also lets companies launch a pop-up ad when users visit a competitor's Web site." And Gator saves your identity in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID section of the registry - good place to hide, if you've got something to hide.

Privacy Some information we may collect, use, and associate with your Anonymous ID includes: Which web pages your computer views and how much time is spent at those sites Your response to the ads we display Standard web log information and system settings What software is on your computer Your first name, country, and five digit ZIP code Your GAINware usage characteristics and preferences Information associated with your Anonymous ID is used in any of three ways: a) to offer assistance (e.g. knowing when to offer help filling in a form or adjust your computer's clock), b) to select and deliver installation files for optional new GAINware and/or third party software applications, and c) to deliver advertisements and information to you on behalf of our advertisers who are often competitors of the web sites you are viewing."

McJane, is this what you mean when you say "I like it and use it every day"? That you like not having to fill out forms?

I just don't care for people using me for their own benefit I guess. But it's really a moot point for me since I clean my computer so frequently because of that. Once I do, and I run SpyBot and Window Washer, that cleans out ALL my cookies and information so I am continually retyping that information anyway.

Which is "why" my Ebay preferences to not view the last three pages is checked and it STILL brings it up everytime I've cleaned my computer out. Ebay also has their own program of tracking our searches and uses that information for their own benefit - ie - $$$. I do the best I can in blocking all that I can and still be able to surf within reason.
