I have been looking at AW, and have a question about fees...

They mention there is .05 charge for items listed in eBay stores (and Dutch, I believe). I don't do Dutch auctions, but I do have an eBay store.

Here's my question: If I list an item in my eBay store with ten items available, do I pay .05 x 10, or just .05 for the initial listing?

I understand the 2% fee, but this isn't that clear to me.

Also, if you use AW, have you used Vendio? Is AW as user friendly or does it have a major learning curve? Initially I am just concerned with getting some listings done and can learn reports, etc. later. I don't intend to use their checkout - I don't use Vendio's either.

Thank you for your help!

You have me confused. What is AW? Vendio used to be Auction Watch. Is that the AW you are referring to?

Works does not charge fees for listings. The transaction fee is on completed items only. The normal minimum is .10 but for stores items and dutch auctions it is reduced to .05

I have used Vendio, I used it for about 8 months but got frustrated with it. I think that Works is actually a lot easier and less convoluted than Vendio and I have encountered less problems with it. I was running auctions the same day I signed up.

Another great feature is that if you ever decide to get your own merchant account, the pathways are already programed in to Works. You enter your merchant ID and go and the check out process is super simple (had two compliments this week on how simple and user friendly it is)

If you decide to give it a try feel free to ask if you need any help.

BTW - Since their store is free I would encourage using the check-out since it enables upselling of the store items.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
