Hi, I never paid much attention when you guys talked about which snipe program was good because I don't do much buying and never thought I would use it. Now, however, there is an item I want to buy and it closes at a time that is totally wrong for me to watch. I googled snipe programs and there are several and some have apparently had a few problems according to their own chat so I thought I would ask which program you all find to be most effective. Thanks for your help this time and all the other times I benefit from questions others ask! Harriett

I use Esnipe and gladly pay for it.

My default sniping time is 2-3 seconds before the auction ends.

It very rarely misses. Only if Ebay has a glitch or the seller ended the auction early.

Good luck!

If you only use it once in a while, I like Auction Stealer.

Try esteal.net
worked everytime for me & it's free.

I still think if it's something very hard to find or you just have to have it it's always best to trust no one & snipe it yourself.

I am a proponent for celibacy. If you don't do it, you won't regret it. Keep yourself unspoiled until the right auction comes along.

Thanks to you all I won the item!! Someone else bid within the last minute but I had placed a bid with esnipe and got it. I had the first bid and a newby with 0 feedback bid 7 times to pass me so figured if I bid again it would be a war and there was no way I could be at the computer when it ended. Thanks again for all the info I gain as I lurk each day.

YAY! I'm glad you won! esnipes rules - really! the only time you don't win is when somebody has a really high proxy bid in
