i've used vendio and ebay for several years, and opened this new account to sell for my store. i seem to be having problems using my business credit card to register with ebay. I keep getting CC Failed messages. I have entered everything correctly, and have used this card before for other orders including through Paypal. I tried to change my name to the store name which is also on the card, and nothing works.

Anyone have any ideas???

Pull out your bill and enter the info they are asking for directly from the bill. Make sure caps and spacing are exactly as they are on the bill.

My addy is hl xxx. But my CC bill has h.l. xxx and ebay kept kicking it out until I entered everything exactly as it was printed on my bill.

Good luck.

LtRay's right. You need to enter EXACTLY as it is on your billing. I had trouble with a card once. Called my credit union and they told me the address was: P.O.(no space)Box xxx.

Have my bill in hand, typed it in exactly like it shows on my account, with all caps, spaces, etc. and still nothing. Ugh!

What mesmorizes me is that I used the same card to register with Paypal, No problems... Purchased numerous things online... No problems. Ebay... Problems.

Just discovered something very odd. When ebay's system rejects the card, it lists the card number as: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-703. The problem is that I am entering 16 numbers and for some reason ebay is only accepting 15. It is deleting the first number in the last sequence of 4 numbers.

Any ideas???

just got done with live support. NOTHING! I find it odd that A) I can use this card everywhere else, but Ebay. 2) I can register my personal CC cards, but not this one on Ebay. I need the fees to be billed to my business not to me, so using a personal CC won't work. I am about to go mad with this. It is extremely frustrating especially when you already know the ins and outs of ebay. I have sold using Ebay for almost 5 years.

Well, I just registered using a checking account, which I really hate doing, but oh well... I will see what I can do with it later.

so after an hour or two i get an email from ebay stating that the charges were declined. however, i called the bank and they tell me that they show 10 pending $1.00 transactions from ebay. I'm about to rip the damn computer off the table and throw it out the window.
