***Pay Now Button for 3rd Party Listing Tools - Pilot Program***
Date: 03/01/04 Time: 11:31:42 AM PST

We are piloting a new program that will enable certain 3rd party listing tools to use the Pay Now button.

Sellers who use listing tools from 3rd party providers who are participating in this pilot (such as Auctionworks) will have the option to use the Pay Now button along with their customized, 3rd party checkout systems. If they do so, buyers who click on the Pay Now button after a listing closes will be taken from eBay's site to the seller's 3rd party checkout system. Please contact your 3rd party listing tool provider to learn whether they are part of this pilot program.

Please note that sellers can still have the Pay Now button displayed on their closed listings without using a 3rd party provider. To enable eBay’s payment process, go to the Preferences tab in My eBay and click the "Update payment/checkout preferences" link under "Seller preferences".

For more information, please read our Checkout-Redirect Information or contact your 3rd party listing tool provider.

Regards,
eBay

I got this announcement today, it's a great addition if you are using PayPal but.........

Now if they would just do the same thing with the Send Payment Info button. I sent of 60 some notices yesterday on one account with info on how to go thru check out to get total and payment information or go to the credit card check-out. Yeserday was an especially bad day.... 30 some "please send me total" and "I intend to pay via credit card" notices and TWO checkouts without hand holding. Between that and the guy that keeps emailing me for payment info from his absolute piece of crap never had a single damn email to that lousy service Blueyonder mail account (hate aol all you want but I have seriously NEVER had an email to a blueyonder account actually go thru) I definately got a little snippy by the end of the emails.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
