Here's my posts on their "Help" (NOT) boards:

From reading another message board, I decided to check my listings and now find that a lot of my auctions don't have the original pictures!! I use SMPro and the first time I listed, they were there. When I used just the Sales Manager while on line to relist this week, I find the only 1 photo is showing up! Here are the numbers of just some of the relists in particular: 2229245953, 3707859173, 3900862357, 3278062417, 3278064722, 2229196220, 3278057803, 3278055808.....
Why did this happen? It also happened on a couple of new auctions. They were there in the preview. Please see what you can do to correct this right away please. The images were not expired or deleted. I usually put more than one picture in an auction.
Thanks.
Sharon

Hello,

Did you edit these when you were relisting them from Vendio? If you didn't edit them they should have relisted with the original images on them. Do you have the original auction numbers for any of them?

Outlined below are two ways in which you can attach images to your existing auctions.

1. From the Image Hosting service:

To access, click the Image Hosting tab, and select the image(s) you want to attach to your auction. Click the "Attach" or "Attach with Counter" button at the bottom of the page. On the next page, select the auction site from the drop-down menu, and click the "Existing Auction" radio button. The next page will require you to enter the auction number (you are required to have your eBay ID information on file to use this method.) Keep in mind that your image(s) will appear beneath the ad template on the auction page if you use this method.

You may also select "Other Auction Site" from the drop-down menu, which will produce the HTML code needed for insertion into the auction revision form.

2. From Sales Manager, click on the "Manage Images" link. Check the box of the image(s) you wish to add under the select column. Click the "Attach Image" button on the bottom of the page, verify your image, and click "Continue". You will then come to a page that contains a box or block of HTML. Copy and paste the entire box of HTML into the description box of the auction revision form, being very careful not to alter any pre-existing HTML that may be in this field.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya,

Thanks for your reply. I DID NOT edit any photo when I relisted these auctions. I did change the opening bid price but didn't change anything with regard to the photos. Here are the auction numbers, the original auction and the relisted one.

Original # Relisted #

Perfume 2227631609 2229245953
Ruby compote 3706097495 3707859173
3 figurines 3276192419 3900862357
Perfume w/bulb 2227545933 2229196220
Boy w/dog plt 3276112201 3278064722
Boy w/cake plt 3276113056 3278062417
Shell ship 3276115078 3278057803
Trinket box 3276115614 3278055808

It is also interesting that three relisted auctions DID have all their original pictures. Please note the following:

Ship Picture 3276712769 3278722901
Painting 3900009081 3901224452
Old knife 2227542040 2227542040

As far as my using one of the suggested methods to add pictures to the auctions, if I use image hosting, will I be charged 10 cents per photo? I'm not sure the second method is worth all the trouble.

Since it was Vendio's "glitch", can't you folks please fix it?

It's also interesting to note on the relisted (new) auctions where the photos are placed. There's an extra one beneath all my descriptions.

Please let me hear from you soon.

Thanks.
Sharon

You might have to break down and use the phone service here.

Why are you asking us to solve your problem? Go to Vendio & work with them. I have found them to be very helpful on several occasions.

My guess is it's in your HTML and it has to do with that gallery logo. Also, you added the Bidpay - Western Union Auction Payments between the original listing and the relist. That could very easily be the culprit. Take it out and see what the auction looks like afterwards.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
