Anybody see the ad that eBay had during "West Wing"? I like the idea that eBay is spending some of our $$ to get more bidders.

Yes I have seen a few of the ads lately. The song ends something like this. How to use eBay. Should generate some business (I Hope)

Does the line in the song that says something like "Buy today and it's on its way." bother anyone else. Didn't a poster have a thread about a buyer using that line to demand shipping before they paid.

In the one I saw, the woman came out of the woodwork and sang the song Do You Know Your Way to San Jose (do eBay). The man had his arm in a cast.

I thought the whole thing was pretty corny.

The one last nite was a young man who ripped open his shirt & had a eBay logo on a undershirt & a group of dancers behind him. Not too bad an ad. Believe me you don't do this for peanuts. That one ad cost somewhere around $100,000.00 to produce & air in primetime. I worked for a major motel chain that spent a million a year on cable stations, not on the major networks.
