If anybody is interested, here's the follow up to the Mad as Heck case.

I FINALLY received the cartridge yesterday from FedEx. Because of my first reaction when I got the email that said it was being shipped Media Mail, which was - "it is going to take FOREVER to get here!"...it did take forever. FedEx themselves kept misdirecting the package (I asked FE if Tom Hanks was going to deliver it) It just goes to show you, You are what you think.

I immediately left a follow up feedback for them and saw where they had been using a lot of BIN's and stuff to try and bury the feedback I guess.

This morning I received from Square Trade that they wanted the feedback removed. It was his $20 so I didn't have any objection, but I did want my 2 cents in as to how this all happened. Fair was fair, he did give it to me free, he paid the ST fee, I lost my temper and shouldn't have, so let the feedback be removed.

Here's my ST comment:

Josh/Jay whoever is answering the phone needs to answer with the name of your business if this is a business phone, instead of of the "yeah what do you want" attitude. I asked to speak to you and they would not let me. I asked if this was Jay I was speaking to, and he said "it depends on what you want". I know it's hard to get good help, but really, this person is not doing you any favors. He ended up making me so mad that I left that feedback probably too hastily, I should of calmed down first. He kept changing his story on why and how it had been shipped. I ran across the same attitude the FIRST time I called too.

"yello"

"Excuse me, is this the printer cartridge office?"

"Yep"

"Well I just received an email saying that you had shipped my printer laser cartridge media mail?"

"Yes?"

"That's illegal to ship that Media Mail!"

"Well I'm not in the shipping department so I can't tell you how they shipped it."

"Right."

"So uh, you like WORK for the Post Office?" (which I took to mean: "who cares? so what are you going to do about it?" )

When I called back I got: He said "oh you're one of those people that run out before you order another one." "our shop moved last week and everything is in shambles." "Ebay allows 14 days for you to get this"

I FINALLY got the cartridge yesterday (March 4th) and it was very nicely packed and works well.

Please please don't abuse the mail system by shipping these media mail if you have done so in the past. The USPS has started inspecting MM packages because of this abuse. That's how this whole thing started...you go on & on in your auction how you "don't make any $ from shipping" and then I got the email saying it had been shipped media mail. Your shipping cost is fair, or I wouldn't of bid, you don't need to apologize for it - as long as you are shipping in a respectable manner & time frame.

Speak to the guy with the attitude, I responded to him in a like manner which I shouldn't have. You were very nice and I am ashamed of how I reacted to his manner, or lack of it.

Because of how I perceived the whole thing, FedEx themselves kept losing the package, and that wasn't your fault. You can check that for yourself online.

I DO apologize!

Laura Beth"
