i dont know if these people are holier than thou, but they are people who cant take any NEGATIVE comment or remark on what they have or what their attitude is.
for example, they have an item and they ask for advice of what it is and how should they sell it,several of us responded,if you say the item is not what you think it is or it is not as attractive and nice as you think it is,the person gets offended.
if they have a complaint with a venue or service provider and you make a comment which rubs them the wrong way, then you are on their hate list and they will remember it for a long time.
jack, sorry it has happened to you,
yes, watch what you said on this board,it is a shame .

uaru-I agree with what you said. There are so many violations on eBay other than what people here list. Oh dear I am at a loss for words. If there is someone here doing that then I think they should bow out, take a hike. It's to bad Vendio doesn't let you change user names but then again if auctions were in violation then maybe they should be pulled. I have no idea because if you are posting under a different user name than eBay I don't know who you are and I really don't want to know. We here at the eBay outlook do not have to be police for eBay. I think this thread is going to make us sit up and take notice and watch what we say and that is to bad as it is a great discussion board.

Update... my buddy that was given a 30 day suspension. Spent time on eBay for 30 days turning in violations. Lots of them. Many from the SLC area where his nemisis resides. Especially in the widget listings he frequents. Listings are down almost 50% in his category and now he plans to come back, yes, with a vengeance. He KNOWS the rules, now, and welcomes anyone to find an error in his listings.

If you do this you need an excellent firewall and to close all external access to your machine. Also double filter all of your mail. He has noticed several people with trojans in their listings or WBN. This isn't just bad for eBay, but bad in general.

One to many 2buck chucks...

either say or shut up about it...

unless you like getting your jollies off in bringing disruption to the boards for no reason...

It is funny though how many seem worried on here but don't hesitate to link anothers auction to pick apart...

mitch,,,,a poster from 1999 I am,,,,,,reluctant to reply BUT,I must defend,,,me,,,,No, I did NOT have 16 pages of auctions terminated,ONE poster here sold a book and 16 pages were ripped,,,,, out of the book,,,,the Buyer,,,, was VERY upset about that and the SELLERS reply was, the buyer never contacted me to resolve the problem and He returned the Nuetral with a NASTY Negative in,,,,retaliation,,I can only assume HE lost it .....BUT that VERY same poster has posted against losing it.....hahahaha.....There was NO reason for the Buyer to contact him, 16 pages ripped out is pretty obvious to ANYONE. and the SELLER SHOULD have made NOTE of such. I mean he sells MANY of these and WOULD be considered an EXPERT in his given/chosen field.

And NO......Unless,,,,,I have MORE problems in the Future from this poster....Every move you make, every step YOU take,,,,Every move you make, every step you take,,,,We'll be watching YOU..... Leave US alone! RJN? RNJ? And leave the OTHER posters alone too.... Many are finding out WHO you are......CHOICE,,,,, auctions are a NO NO......listing ALL your titles of BOOKS is a NO NO and you Do Choice auctions and BURN others.....????? Naughty little hypicrate poster.....

3,2,1...??????....Yes..........launch,,,,,,,

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

OK Uaru, I am a great fan of Lewis Carroll and always happy to read his work but you have me confused. (Not to say i am not confused by this thread anyway but this introduces a new level of confusion.) Does the poem contain a clue to your take on the mystery of the meaning of this thread or iperhaps a comment on its meaninglessness? I am not able to read between the lines or remember any past exchanges about 16 pages so I guess I will have to continue to live in confusion.

A comment on its meaningless. My guess it's meaningless to all but Jack and a psychologist.

Above all remember... Beware the Jabberwock, the Jubjub bird, and the frumious Bandersnatch!

Jabberwocky beautifully skates the thin edge of being understood and being nonsense. But such glorious nonsense! As Alice put it,

"It seems very pretty," she said when she had finished it, "but it's rather hard to understand!" (You see she didn't like to confess even to herself, that she couldn't make it out at all.) "Somehow it seems to fill my head with ideas--only I don't exactly know what they are! However, somebody killed something: that's clear, at any rate---"

OK, so now I am worried, this made sense to me and was illuminating. Thanks for the info on Mr. Hypocrite, Jack. Psssst, got a Lejon Commemorative Bicentennial Liberty Bell decanter with the tax stamp unbroken at a yard sale for $5.00. 30 year old brandy, with the original box.

Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...
