The Democrats ran on 'Honesty' and I told 'em at the time they would never get anywhere. It was too radical for politics. The Republicans ran on 'Common Sense' and the returns showed that there were 8 million more people in the United States who had 'Common Sense' enough not to believe that there was 'Honesty' in politics." --Will Rogers

Why, it's ebay related? No different from haunted coke cans or $25000 beer cans.

It was hilarious looking at the user names of some of the bidders. Also, I was surprised at the number of bidders who have respectable feedback ratings. Almost looks like some of them are serious.

I was surprised too! And I thought I read in that auction, that it was a private bidder auction, and you HAVE TO PUT CREDIT UP for bidding over $15,000??
Woaw
I saw on the bidders list, a seller that I bought something from too

Hey Bear, Its your right to keep trying but its not going to work this time around. Your post just reminded me to go to John Kerry's web site and send him a few bucks.

Classic - I don't remember the exact wording, but it was an auction for a "fake foreign leader" to support John Kerry (don't remember if he mentioned Kerry by name or just alluded to him). Upon winning he would supposedly send press releases to the major news organizations.
I thought it was very amusing - there was something in there about only shipping to Massachusetts.

Ya, as if he needs it. I wonder if he is going to give any of his wife's money away to the poor if he becomes president.
Opps the auction is gone. Now who reported that?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

The wording in the description was:
"Imaginary Foreign Leader Endorsement,"
Have you ever been caught in a lie while running for President of the United States? If you want to make a current president jealous, look better in front of your political buddies who have real foreign relations experience, or if you are just a liar who got called out on your bogus campaign lies, this is the auction for you!!! I'll pretend that I am the leader of a foreign nation that supports your candidacy for President of the United States until the elections in November. . . .
Shipping/Handing charge for this item is $15.00, we only ship to Massachusetts. . . .
*****THIS DOES NOT MEAN I AM YOUR REAL SUPPORTER!!!!!This is only pretend!!!!!***** When our time is up, right before the election, I'll send out another press release stating that this was all fake. Hey, I'm out for a buck, I'm not insane. But who are we kidding, if flip flopping on the issues makes a person less trustworthy, you would have dropped out of the race already.
