I listed some items earlier this evening and none of them are showing up in the search yet.

eBay has been doing really good for awhile and items got into search fast ....... what happened?

Hi,

Same here -- I put up my auctions at 3PM central and no show, shades of the past.

Also for some strange reason now I'm having a problem with the 'immediate payment required' option for Paypal -- Well I cant find it. It was there in the past and now its gone!

I checked the litte box on page 3 Remember my selections in the section below.
Selections will be saved for the next time I list.

Could this be the problem ?

I'm tired, frustrated -- W O E Is Me !!!

Hi slabholder, good to see you again.

I just checked some other sellers and none of theirs that were launched are showing up in search either.

Ya, it does remind me of the old days, ebay almost lulled me into a false sense of security.

I wonder if this explains why none of my auctions are showing up in my newly-opened Store.

There was no mention of any problems on the Announcement Board. Items are now in Search and it's all like it never happened except that lots of sellers lost about 1/2 a day or so of exposure.

I'm still not seeing anything in the Store. I'm perplexed. Anyone have a guess?

I'm talking auction items, not fixed price listings.

No can't help you there, it's been a long time since I had a store.

It says "Sorry, all items have been purchased. Try viewing here." which of course takes the buyer to someone elses stuff. When I click on "auction only" it's empty too.

I hope you're not paying for this or is this why the first month is free?

It does take a while for store items to show up. I am pretty sure that your auctions should have shown up immediately. I think eBay must be having problems because of their new category change yesterday.

A few things have appeared in the Store. It does seem to take hours even for auction items to appear. Strange.

Still not fixed. I listed some items 4 hours ago and still not showing.

You would thing when they raised rates, they could at least have a system that actually works when you need it to.

Be patient everyone. They are in the process of upgrading their servers from 386 cpu's to 486 cpu's. You should see a dramatic increase in speed anytime now.

Oh, don't be ridiculous. They've got "Powered by IBM" plastered all over their pages. Clearly they are upgrading to OS/2...half an operating system.

Fluffy...At least it will be an improvement over the CP/M system they are using now. Wonder what they are going to do with all those Kaypros?

Another night and the same problem as last night.

Do you think it's because of the rollout and breakout of subcategories and new metacategories aka newly-elevated categories aka more enhancements?

`````````````````````````````````````````````
***March Category Changes***
Date: 03/16/04 Time: 03:46:15 PM PST
The category structure has been updated based on feedback received from the eBay Community and from experts in the affected fields. You may provide category structure feedback at any time by clicking here.
As previously announced, several subcategories have been made into new metacategories (meaning they are now top-level categories). Please see our March 4th Announcement to see a condensed list of which categories have been elevated. While this change is being introduced to the site, some members may see incorrect item counts in the newly-elevated categories. This will be corrected once the rollout is completed.
Blah, blah, blah.....
