Can anyone help with identification of the cars in this image?

The postcard, mailed from Missouri, has a date of October 2, 1924 on it - if that helps at all...

If you can't see the image -- try back again -- it might just be the last image I upload to Spare Dollar ever again, because I just can't rely on the stability - apparently...

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's definitely a:
Red X in a square mobile.
Not rare you see a lot of them on the Internet.

You can pick them up pretty cheap. You often see them in games of tic tac toe.

Thanks for the link, toasted. I've got that bookmarked now.

I'm still a bit perplexed and would like any suggestions as to what kind of cars exist in this 1924 postcard...

Thanks in advance - again.

It is not a photograph.

Could it be a prototype, generic car drawn by the artist?

I vote for generic. If it were a real photo of a car or even a chrome postcard with 1950'S - 1970'S cars I would try to find out the model. White border postcards with generic cars are very common and I don't think collectors seriously look at the models IMHO

More than likely it is the artists rendition of an high end touring car of that era. The success of Henry Ford brought forth 100's of individuals and companies hoping to duplicate Ford's success only a few survived past the depression. I like cards & photos of old cars. However, the car has to be larger object in the picture.

Go to your local library and check the Standard Catalog of American Cars. But it's probably just a generic rendering.
