Is anyone else experiencing a significant increase in buyers using eBay's "Message from eBayer" service?

Got 3 today - with folks apologizing for not posting feedback earlier.

What's the new language and techniques being used by eBay to generate these? I guess I'm gonna have to buy something this week to figure it out...

If they don't keep your email address, they have to go back to the auction and the only option they get is "Ask the Seller a Question". Annoying, I know. I hate getting those. The first thing I say outloud is, "What now?".

Cheryl,

That's what I thought it might have been, but they're different. These are not "Ask Seller a Question" form e-mails. They are html formatted e-mails that have "Message from eBay Member Regarding Item #xxxxxxxx" as the subject line.

And, the communication from each of the 3 today have been as simple as notifying me that they received their packages -- 2 mentioned that they would be providing positive feedback, etc.

I've gotten my share of the "Ask Seller" e-mails -- these are a bit different...

I think any member can contact any other member using this form. You access it on the feedback page.."contact member" button.
